They want to know more about Muslims living in North Glasgow - this includes Springburn, Sighthill, Robroyston, etc. I would very much like to meet with a small group of people who live in North Glasgow to ask some very general questions about what they like/dislike about living in North Glasgow and what services should be included.

I am a mature student at the University of Stirling, I am in my final year of study and have to complete a dissertation as part of my studies. I have a particular interest in Asian immigration into Glasgow and the surrounding area, between the years of 1920-1960. I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could supply me with any information with regard to this topic. I would like to speak or email anyone who could tell me about the experiences of any relatives who arrived in the area during this time period.

Any correspondence would be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality, with the minimum disruption to the person concerned. I am aware that many migrants particularly those arriving from the Indian sub-continent experienced extreme racial prejudice during this time and would be keen and sympathetic to find out more about this subject.
