Do you really EAT HALAL meat?

Do you really eat Halal meat?

An emergency meeting of the Ulema Forum of Glasgow was held at Glasgow Central Mosque.

It was brought to the attention of the elders of the Community that one of the biggest suppliers of meat to the Muslim butchers of Scotland has misled Muslims and provided them with Haram as well as Halal and some of the Qurbani that they provided was also Haram.

This all was done under the noses of some of our 'Muslim' Butchers.

People were made aware of the following facts:

1- To be very careful about where they buy their meat from.

2- Try to avoid eating meat for the time being unless they are very sure of its source.

3- Put pressure on the Butchers to support the HMC, which is going to be established in Glasgow inshallah.

4- The Forum of Ulema asked for strong support of the Community elders/leaders, councillors and others.

5- A group of local Ulema is to receive training from the HMC in Leicester next week inshallah.

6- For further information and to learn more about HMC, please refer to www.halalmc.org

May Allah make us eat Halal and refrain from eating Haram and may He guide all those Muslims who have done this for the benefit of a few pennies, amen.

They actually have a sign up outside, on top of the door, saying they are the first HMC store in Scotland.
