I dont blame him. Calling the same scholars all the time can get boring.
During the speech somehow the dispute between braelwi and deabandi's always crawls up

Shaykh Ahmad Ali hasn't been in Glasgow for a long time, so if you miss him, you miss out. It's true that Shaykh Abdur Raheem is a permanent fixture - not that I'm complaining.
I've never heard anyone mention barelvis or deobandis - maybe I need to start hanging out in the corridors more.

At a high level, they are places in India where people are taught about Islam:
Sisters can come too - we know you're all hungry too.

Just a suggestion for the future, is there no way/software etc that the bayans can be heard online by those who cant make it to the mosque? even if they're downloaded later and put up on the website to listen.

AsSalaamu alaikum,
Pal talk is a great easy way of broadcasting bayans. It is done regularly around Glasgow.
I would strongly suggest doing this as it is extremely easy - all one needs is a laptop and internet connection and the talk can be heard. It is also a way of helping the disabled in our community - something the Glasgow community has a shameful record of in comparison to the Example of Muhammad (SAW) and the companions, May Allah be pleased with them.

Assalamu alaykum
I attended the event, and mashallah it was excellent.
Though it is sad to see that these such events are not as busy and full as they should be.
